Since our establishment in 2011, Hikma Charity Association has remained dedicated to serving people affected by poverty, conflict, displacement, drought, and other humanitarian challenges.

Our work is guided by the belief that every person deserves dignity, equal opportunities, access to essential services, and the chance to build a better future. We strive to translate this belief into meaningful action through humanitarian assistance, sustainable development initiatives, and community-based programmes that respond to the needs and priorities of the people we serve.

Hikma Charity Association works across several key sectors, including health, education, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), food security, livelihoods and resilience, child protection, orphan care, and emergency response. Through these interventions, we seek not only to address immediate humanitarian needs but also to strengthen the capacity of individuals, families, and communities to recover from crises and build more resilient futures.

We recognize that Somalia continues to face complex challenges, including recurrent droughts, food insecurity, displacement, limited access to basic services, and economic hardship. These challenges require coordinated action, strong partnerships, responsible resource management, and a commitment to sustainable solutions. Hikma therefore works to strengthen collaboration with local communities, government institutions, charitable foundations, humanitarian organizations, and development partners to maximize the impact of our programmes.
