Hikma Charity Association Somalia’s Protection Programme aims to safeguard the dignity, safety, rights, and well-being of vulnerable individuals and communities affected by conflict, displacement, poverty, natural disasters, and humanitarian emergencies.

The programme seeks to reduce protection risks, prevent exploitation and abuse, promote equal access to humanitarian assistance, and strengthen the capacity of communities to identify and respond to protection concerns. Hikma works towards an environment in which people can access assistance and essential services safely, without discrimination, intimidation, exploitation, or harm.

The programme prioritizes vulnerable populations, including internally displaced families, children at risk, women facing protection challenges, older people, persons with disabilities, and households experiencing severe hardship. Activities are designed according to assessed needs and in coordination with appropriate service providers and humanitarian partners.
