About Hikma

Hikma Charity Association  (HCA) is one of the leading Somali humanitarian organizations that care for rights of vulnerable individuals and groups in Somalia providing Relief services and subsidies, and adopt the educational, health and advocacy mechanisms and provide assistance to the sick, elderly, the poor, the needy and the orphans. we have branches offices/ representatives in Bossaso, Galkaio, Mogadishu, Baidoa, and our Head Quarter Is In Garowe.

Establishedment

HCA was established in 2011 by Somali intellectuals, well-wishers and advocates that aim at restoring the community hopes through response and recovery programs in the aftermath of the tribal skirmish that destroyed the Somali society apart since 1991

To be the leading charity organization, Hikma Charity Association aims at expanding the charity services to respond to the needs of the vulnerable community effectively and efficiently.

Core values and principles

The values and principles that underpin HCA is based on the jurisdiction, norms and standards of the Islamic religion in line with the values of helping the needy and provide relief to disaster victims, marginalized individuals or groups through subsidy and other basic support. Our major objectives

1. To provide humanitarian and charitable services including health and relief services to those affected by the drought, famine and war and other natural disasters.
2. To provide educational and advocacy services for the Somali community specially the local income groups.
3. To carryout construction of schools, mosques and Holly Quran centers and other charity projects in remote areas
4. To take care of widows, orphans and street children
5. To contribute to alleviating the suffering of some poor Somali families through annual aid, or monthly salaries.
6. To cooperate with charitable associations and committees within and outside Somalia, and provide services through their partnership.
